I haven't written a blog post in almost a week! I'm sure this has probably gone completely unnoticed by everyone else, but I was getting into a good little routine of blogging 2 or 3 times per week. I've made a decision not to pressure myself to blog at the weekends, and instead enjoy time with my family and friends, and actually being part of the 'bloggable' experiences, rather than worrying too much about actually blogging them, so to speak.
I've seen a few autumn tags floating around recently, and I haven't done a tag post in a while. A lot of them tend to be about make-up trends, but other than busting out the burgundy nail polish and a berry lip, my routine doesn't change that much, so I've decided to do it this way instead.
I loved the way Christina put her autumn loves in picture form, so I've followed her example, and will hopefully convert those of you who aren't autumn lovers, into thinking about the fun things to come now that summer is over! After all, you can't cosy up with a hot chocolate in 25 degree heat!
All images are from (you guessed it) weheartit and edited by me.
So these are some of the things I'm looking forward to. I'm excited to do some autumnal posts, as I much prefer autumn outfits to summery ones, and my perfect night in, and how I change my home with the changing of the seasons.
Are you looking forward to autumn? What are your favourite autumnal things?

aah totally agree with all of these; so excited for the new season! Think I'll get my soup pot out this weekend as well :)
ReplyDeleteThis was a lovely post! I really like the way you've done each thing as a photo :)
ReplyDeleteTotally agree with hot chocolate, cable knit jumpers and cosy socks.

Such a lovely post. I love autumn for so many reasons...
ReplyDeleteweheartit.com pictures are awesome...I've a slight obsession for the pictures there and nice editing you have done there :)
Ahh I'm so looking forward to Autumn!! I much prefer cosy nights in... :) And yes definitely best to actually "do" stuff than sit and blog all the time xx
ReplyDeleteLove this post so much! Your images are gorgeous! And I noticed that you hadn't posted in a little while, not in a 'why aren't you posting' way but just in that I missed reading your lovely blog! :)
ReplyDeleteLove this post! I'm a summer girl at heart but cosy knits, snuggly socks and cosy nights in definitely make autumn and winter something to look forward to!

Yes yes yes! Love!
ReplyDeleteooh this made me smile from ear to ear :) xx
ReplyDeleteI love this!! I'm currently cosied up in a jumper my mum knitted me feeling VERY autumnal. I love the smell of autumn mornings- when I leave for work at the moment it's cold and smells faintly of woodsmoke and it is AMAAAZING. xx
ReplyDeleteOne can not read a good book without a cat. ;) I'm a bit envious of all those moving into fall. Here in Texas it's still summer, a light summer but summer regardless. While certain plants are dying, others are sprouting.
